The Urban Video Intervention Project is a site-specific light-based installation. Projection of images, forms, text and animation, play on the geometries of the physical space. The work integrates with the site in a way that creates a visual counterpoint to the physical and civic context. Installations challenge visitors’ perceptions of the site and encourage them to consider this environment in a new light. The first installation was at the Vancouver Law Courts and was part of 30 Days of Sustainability in 2006.
