Ongoing study into perception and form
Year: 2010

Architectural applications of the graphic medium explored through the YUP! River Market project use graphics as a sort-of reverse trompe-l’oeil. The graphic applied obliquely to a platonic architectural form – in this case, a shipping container – re-constitutes an abstract image of the historic estuary wetland, essentially erasing the container from the landscape from a certain point of view.
