Mark Ashby is an architect based in Vancouver, BC, an active member of the local art and design community. Prior to launching his own practice in 2009, Mark acted as Project Architect for six years at the firm Walter Francl Architecture Inc. in Vancouver and for four years with EHDD Architecture in Chicago, Il. Mark brings outstanding communication and judgment to the project team and a passion for identifying and reconciling the complex [and often divergent] needs of stakeholders. A team builder; Mark plays well with others. Experience with collaborative and integrated design processes, complex regulatory frameworks, construction managed projects and fast-track construction has provided Mark with a foundation of expertise and clarity of judgment that is suited to complex, quick-delivery projects.
